Rights of Use

Customer’s signature on the Rental Agreement states that the Renter confirms and accepts that he/she has read these Conditions, and agrees with them. The Conditions of the rental and the Rental Agreement/Terms & Conditions  are considered inseparable.

Driver’s Required Qualification

Vehicles can be rented by the drivers who are aged at least 18 years old and have at least one year of driving experience. In order to rent a vehicle the renter must present a valid european driving license/international driver’s license and a matching credit/debit card.

Authorized drivers of the vehicle

As per the Rental Agreement, only the Renter is authorized to drive the rented vehicle. The Renter acknowledges and confirms that he/she will not permit anyone else to drive the Vehicle.Under no circumstances will the renter operate the rented vehicle under alcoholic influence, narcotic or any other stuff affective consciousness or ability to react, or who is exhausted.In case of breach of this clause the Renter remains responsible for the whole damage and its circumstances.

Responsibility for Property

Tinkara Bizjak S.P. operating under the name “Wego” takes no responsibility for the items or belongings left or forgotten in the rented vehicle. Renter should check the inside of the vehicle carefully before returning or at the moment of return.

Renter Responsibility for Equipment

All additional equipment included within a given rental period shall be governed by the same rules and obligations outlined within this terms and conditions document. If any additional equipment (helmets, Hammocks, straps etc) are lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed the cost of such an incident will be reduced from the renters security deposit in addition to a €50 administration fee.

Accidents, Theft, Vandalism and Damages
  1. A) The Renter must immediately inform Wego about any road accident, scratches, crash, theft of the Vehicle or any stolen parts and/or any other incident the Vehicle is involved in.
  2. B) Without Wego permission and the police presence the Renter must not accept any liability or release the other part of the accident on his sole decision. The Renter must immediately report the company, police and the insurance company about the accident and follow the further instructions. If the Renter does not follow these instructions, then he/she remains fully responsible for the damage and the circumstances. In case of an accident the Wego team is always there to assist.
  3. C) If an accident happens or in case of theft and/or vandalism, the Renter must immediately report the police and the company and at police presence fill all the necessary documentation. Upon returning the rental vehicle the Renter must provide the copy of the protocol filled at the moment of the accident. If the police protocol is not followed, then the Renter remains fully responsible for the damage. 
  4. D) The Renter must keep the Vehicle keys, official documents, remote control and anti – theft system safely. If the vehicle is stolen, the Renter will be required to return all these belongings to Wego representatives.
  5. E) The Renter must closely cooperate with Wego, Police and with the insurance agency to help in the investigation of the traffic accident/loss/vandalism.  

If the Renter ignores this clause and does not fulfill the requirements, he/she will remain fully responsible both financially and legally.

  1. F) In case of some obstacles such as darkness, weather conditions, time and/or place of the Vehicle return, vehicle uncleanness and it makes impossible for “Wego” representative to define the loss of Vehicle parts and/or damages, then “Wego” has the right within 48 hours to charge for loss or damage if such is discovered.
Parking fees and Traffic Tickets
  1. A) By putting the signature on the Rental Agreement the Renter confirms that he/she takes the full responsibility for all traffic and parking fines occurred during the rental agreement and any other breach of law and its consequences.
  2. B) If the Renter gets traffic or parking fines during his/her rental period, he/she must present the ticket to Wego with the payment confirmation.
  3. C) If the fines described in paragraph <>(A) are received after the rental and covered by Wego, the Renter must compensate Wego the full amount of the ticket, taxes plus a €50 administrative charge.
  4. D) At any time Renters may request Wego to provide him/her with a copy of rental agreement, police ticket and the receipt that those have been paid off.
Personal Data

When the Rental Agreement is signed, the Renter acknowledges and accepts that he/she knows that Wego may use his/her personal data according to Wego needs that include payment processing, personal data storage and more. If the Renter breaches the Rental Agreement Wego has the right to share the available information publicly and forward it to third parties.

Validity of the conditions

A) Wego reserves the right at their sole decision to change or amend the Conditions unilaterally and without prior notice.

 
Driving Restrictions

Wego customers are welcome to drive within the confines of the Republic of Slovenia. Driving outside of the Republic of Slovenia is forbidden. In the instance that a renter chooses to travel outside of the Republic of Slovenia he/she is in direct violation of the rental agreement and is personally liable for all potential costs related to damage or theft.

 
Security Deposit

All rental agreements include a €250 refundable damage deposit to be charged at the time the reservation is made. The damage refundable deposit will be returned in full to the renter 24 hours after the rental period is concluded assuming no violations, or damage has taken place.  

If after inspection the returned equipment is seen to have any damage or if the renter has violated in any way the “terms and conditions” Wego holds the right to charge the renter according to the damage or violation partially or in full through the consumption of the returnable amount of the aforementioned refundable damage deposit.

 
Kasko Insurance Policy

Kasko insurance is offered to all customers at an additional cost. When Kasko insurance is purchased by a given customer and when an (accident, damage, theft) occurs, the purchased insurance coverage (Kasko) will cover all costs for replacement, or repairing the scooter with a €250 deductible (amount of security deposit). If renter chooses not to purchase Kasko insurance then he/she is 100% financially and legally responsible for all costs & liability related to any (accident, damage, theft) regardless of fault and will be prosecuted according  the terms and conditions defined by Wego (Tinkara Bizjak S.P.) and Slovenian law. When a customer purchases Kasko Insurance and minor damage occurs such as dents, scratches or other; the repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit. Kasko Insurance provides coverage for accidents and theft resulting in damages occured over the amount of the €250 security deposit. The amount of Insurance coverage available is as follows: 1,050.000 € for damages to Wego scooters or other vehicles involved in an accident. 5,240,000 € coverage for damages to people involved in an accident. In addition Kasko insurance also provides full coverage for theft and natural damages such as severe weather or animal collision.

Free Cancellation Policy

Wego offers a free cancellation policy allowing customers to cancel any reservation and receive a full refund (minus any payment processing fees) when canceled 24 hours (or more) in advance of the designated pickup date/time listed on the rental agreement.

Delivery and Collection of the rental vehicle

A) Wego provides vehicles to the renters in operating and overall good conditions, clean and with a full tank of fuel, complete with all necessary documents.

B) The Renter agrees to return the Vehicle to Wego according to the information stated in the Rental Agreement, in the same condition as before the rental taking into the consideration the natural tear and wear, returning the same documents and extra equipment.

C) The Renter will review the condition of the Vehicle when supplied by the supplier, and by signing, will agree that it matches to the description given in the Vehicle Delivery/Acceptance protocol which is an inseparable part of the Rental Agreement. The Renter confirms that during the rental he/she will be responsible for the careful use according to the technical description of the Vehicle, documents and additional accessories and for safe driving.

D) The Renter must return the Vehicle to the Wego location (or any other) designated in the Rental Agreement within the working hours of the location. If The Renter drops off the Vehicle out of the estimated working hours he/she must fulfill with the out-of-office-hours return terms for that location. If the Renter returns the Vehicle within out of office hours time framework he/she remains fully responsible for the Vehicle until Enterprise personnel takes possession of it by signing on the Delivery/Acceptance Protocol.

E) If the Renter does not return the Vehicle to the mentioned return location/place at the time stated in the Rental Agreement, Wego will charge an additional day’s charges to the rental amount after one hour of delay. If the Renter fails to return the Vehicle to the agreed point, location, or if it is out of hours’ time, he / she will be fully responsible for the delivery or out of hours charges 

If the vehicle is returned with less tank than a full tank of fuel the Renter is fully responsible for the petrol charges. Additional fee of €5 will apply per each missing liter.

Proper Use of Vehicle 

Vespa Primavera 50cc scooters are intended for leisure mobility only. They are not intended for offroad use. The renter agrees to keep the rented vehicle on paved roads at all times. Wego vehicles are not intended for long distance travel over large mountain passes. Wego vehicles are strictly forbidden from operating on the Predil Pass, Vršič pass, Učeja pass, or the Road leading to Mangart Mountain top. Due to the lack of power and minimal width of road it is not safe to travel the above listed roads via 50cc scooter.

GPS Consent 

All Wego Scooters are equipped with Global Positioning device in an effort to locate scooters in the case of theft. The renter understands that each scooter will be equipped with such a device and such data collected via that transfer of such device is exclusively the property of Wego. Wego maintains the right to use such data at their discretion.

If you are not a registered client for our site, there is no personal information we can retain or view regarding yourself.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

When you submit a support ticket or a comment, its metadata is retained until (if) you tell us to remove it. We use this data so that we can recognize you and approve your comments automatically instead of holding them for moderation.

If you register on our website, we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

SECURITY MEASURES

We use the SSL/HTTPS protocol throughout our site. This encrypts our user communications with the servers so that personal identifiable information is not captured/hijacked by third parties without authorization.

In case of a data breach, system administrators will immediately take all needed steps to ensure system integrity, will contact affected users and will attempt to reset passwords if needed.

If you have a registered account on this website or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we retain, including any additional data you have provided to us.
